What does a life coach do?
A life coach helps her client reach her goals in her relationships, career and health, among others, just as a sports coach helps an athlete improve performance and get to the next level.
Some coaches focus on specific topics (e.g. financial freedom, weight loss or self-confidence), while others focus on specific clientele (e.g. realtors, couples, or women with multiple miscarriages).
I focus on helping ENFP women achieve their goals. Every person is different, but ENFPs share common ground in our personality, and it is from this place of understanding and empathy that I serve my favorite people in the world.
Who is an ENFP woman?
ENFP refers to the Extroversion, Intuitive, Feeling and Perceiving personality type as identified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. About 10% of women are ENFPs, so there are a good number of us, but we aren’t too common either!
Don’t know your type? You can take the official test online.
Is a life coach like a therapist, consultant or counselor?
I am a trained coach using honed communication skills to support you as a thinking partner. Together, we create more power for you to effect meaningful change, and take action towards your goals.
Life coaching is thus a collaborative process between you and me, as equals. You are the expert on you, and my role is to draw the answers out of you. This is unlike working with a consultant or counselor, who give advice on what to do.
Life coaching also differs from therapy in that, whereas therapy tends to focus on the past that one might need healing from, coaching is most suitable for people who have made peace with their past, and are ready to focus on the present and future.
I would like to work with you. Where do I start?
I’m glad to hear it! Every new client begins with a free coaching session, a no-obligations opportunity for us to decide if we are a good fit for each other.
You can get started by booking an appointment here.
I've booked my appointment. Now what?
Great job! Your journey towards being the best you begins the moment you schedule your appointment with me.
In your confirmation email, you will receive instructions on what to prepare ahead of our session. You will need to decide on a topic, goal or challenge that you want to discuss, and what you want to get out of our session. This is what I refer to as an agenda.
I require that all clients submit their agenda at least 24 hours before their appointment. This is an essential part of your preparation, so that we can make the most out of our time together.
Clients who do not submit their agenda by the deadline will be asked to reschedule their appointment to a time when they can commit to do the necessary work ahead of the session.
I did not submit my agenda. Can we still meet?
Unfortunately, no. Preparing an agenda is an essential part of your groundwork for our coaching session.
Please reschedule your appointment to a time when you can prioritize your prep work and our coaching relationship.
What can I expect during our first coaching session?
The first coaching session is a no-obligations opportunity for us to assess if we are a good fit for each other.
We will go over your agenda, discuss your chosen topic, and possibly explore some concrete steps to take you closer to your goals.
Every session is different, but it will always be collaborative. We could brainstorm ideas, examine some assumptions you might be holding, uncover blind spots, look at an issue from various perspectives, bring awareness to certain behaviors or set goals, among others.
At the end of the session, we will each decide if we would like to continue working together.
What do you charge?
Thank you for your interest! Every client is different. As such, my rates vary depending on a client’s needs.
If you are keen to find out more, do sign up for a free coaching session and I can make my recommendations directly.
I would like to meet in person. Is this an option?
Unfortunately, given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all of my coaching is done online via Zoom right now.
I'm not an ENFP woman. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely! While I focus primarily on ENFP women, I am open to coaching anyone with whom I feel is a good fit.
If you are interested in working with me, please sign up for a free coaching session and let’s explore this possibility together!
I have more questions. How can I reach you?
I would love to hear from you! Feel free to leave me a message in the contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
